On Wednesday (November 12, 2025), Bangladesh-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BGCCI) President Mr. Md. Roknuzzaman and the board members of the organization participated in the German Unity Day celebration organized by the German Embassy, Dhaka.
Honorable Advisor Sharmin S. Murshid, Advisor on Women and Children Affairs and Social Welfare, was present as a special guest at the event. Various political leaders, diplomats, business representatives and representatives of development cooperation agencies were also present at the event.
BGCCI President Mr. Md. Roknuzzaman said, “Events like German Unity Day remind us of the importance of the long-standing friendship and cooperation between our two countries. We are committed to further strengthening the economic, cultural and bilateral relations between Germany and Bangladesh.”
BGCCI on its part expressed its sincere gratitude to the German Ambassador and the entire embassy team for successfully organizing the event and providing warm hospitality to the participants.
The event not only honored the friendship and cooperation between the two countries, but also served as a platform to further strengthen coordination and partnership between the two countries in various fields including trade, investment and culture.
