Gazipur Police Commissioner Holds Exchange Meeting with National Citizens’ Party and Anti-Discrimination organizations

The newly appointed Police Commissioner of Gazipur Metropolitan Police, Mr. Md. Israil Howlader, held a meeting with the leaders of Jatiya Nagorik Party and anti-discrimination organizations in Gazipur. The meeting was held at the conference room of GMP Headquarters on Monday (November 24, 2025) at noon.

The leaders participating in the meeting greeted the Police Commissioner and praised GMP’s initiatives to make Gazipur a non-discriminatory, safe and modern metropolis. They presented various proposals and opinions on drug control, traffic management, citizen security, protection of marginalized communities and strengthening anti-discrimination activities.

Police Commissioner Md. Israil Hawlader said, “With the cooperation of the people, we are working to build a safe, service-oriented and non-discriminatory metropolis. Our commitment is to improve law and order, increase the quality of services and demonstrate the highest professional skills by ensuring transparency and accountability.”

GMP Additional Police Commissioner (Administration and Finance) Mr. Mohammad Zahidul Hasan, BPM (Services), various Deputy Police Commissioners and senior officials were also present in the meeting.
