A delegation of foreign investors visited the KOREAN EXPORT PROCESSING ZONE (KEPZ) in Chattogram on the inaugural day of the Bangladesh Investment Summit on Monday. During the visit, KEPZ authorities provided a comprehensive briefing on the zone’s infrastructure, investment facilities, and sectoral opportunities.




The KEPZ officials highlighted the region’s growing significance as a hub for global investment, thanks to joint efforts by the government and private sector. They emphasized the zone’s focus on eco-friendly, export-oriented industries and shared insights into various incentives available for foreign investors.
The visiting investors showed keen interest in the facilities offered by KEPZ, including tax holidays, export processing benefits, and access to a skilled workforce. Some of them expressed interest in exploring future investment opportunities in the zone.
