First Executive Committee Meeting of Bangladesh District and Divisional Sports Organizers Association was Held

The first executive committee meeting of Bangladesh District and Divisional Sports Organizers Association has been held. Important decisions were taken on the future work plan and organizational structure of the organization at the meeting held at Fars Hotel in Bijoynagar, Dhaka on Friday (June 27, 2025) afternoon.

BNP Sports Secretary and former national football star Aminul Haque was present as a special guest at the meeting. The convener of the organization, Shariful Alam, presided over the meeting and Aminul Islam Sajal moderated the meeting.

The joint conveners of the organization, Barrister Mir Helal, Mosharraf Hossain, Wahid Uddin Chowdhury Happy and Mohiuddin Ahmed Bulbul, also spoke at the meeting. Also present were members Shahidul Islam Santu, Ali Imam Tapan, Sharmin Akhter Ratna, K.H.R. Shakil, Anwar Hossain Anu and Shairul Kabir Khan.

Under the guidance of BNP Acting Chairman Mr. Tarique Rahman, several important decisions were taken in the meeting to organize and strengthen the country’s sports arena. The decisions taken include – formation of a central advisory committee, formation of committees at the divisional and district levels, organization of divisional tours and formulation of the organization’s constitution.

Notably, a 9-member committee headed by Joint Convener Mohiuddin Ahmed Bulbul has been formed to implement these decisions.

President Shariful Alam thanked all the participating members in his closing speech and declared the meeting officially closed.
