EXPOPRO to Foster Business Collaboration Between Bangladesh and Brunei in 2025

Md Mamunur Rahman, Founder and CEO of EXPOPRO, met with His Excellency Haji Haris Bin Othman, the Honorable High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to Bangladesh, at the High Commission in Dhaka on 13 November 2024. The pivotal meeting focused on fostering economic collaboration between the two nations, spotlighting organizing a business delegation to Brunei Darussalam in late January 2025. Among others, the First Secretary of the High Commission of Brunei Darussalam to Bangladesh, Rozaimee Abdullah, Former DCCI Director Enamul Haque Patwary, and Growing Together Executive Chairman M. Anowar Hossain were present at the meeting.

During the meeting, Md Mamunur Rahman highlighted EXPOPRO’s commitment to facilitating global business connections, emphasizing the potential for Bangladeshi enterprises to explore trade and investment opportunities in Brunei. His Excellency Haji Haris Bin Othman expressed his support for the initiative, underscoring Brunei’s openness to enhancing bilateral economic partnerships.

The planned business delegation, scheduled for late January 2025, aims to promote sectors such as halal industries, green technologies, and SMEs, aligning with Brunei’s Vision 2035 and Bangladesh’s drive for economic growth. This initiative significantly strengthens trade relations and creates a platform for knowledge-sharing and sustainable development.
