A European Union delegation met with Tarique Rahman, the acting chairman of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), at the party’s office in Gulshan in dhaka on Tuesday (January 6, 2026).
European Union Ambassador to Bangladesh Michael Miller was present on behalf of the European Union at the meeting.
Also present on behalf of the BNP were the chairman of the party’s central election management committee, Mr. Nazrul Islam Khan, and BNP spokesperson Mahdi Amin, along with other top leaders of the party.
