Election Commissioner seeks 300 judges from Chief Justice for parliamentary elections

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AM Nasir Uddin has sought the cooperation of 300 judges from the Chief Justice to serve as Executive Magistrates in the upcoming 13th National Parliament elections.

On Tuesday (December 9) afternoon, the CEC met Chief Justice Dr. Syed Refaat Ahmed at the Supreme Court.

At this time, the Chief Election Commissioner sought the cooperation of the judiciary for a fair election. The Chief Justice has assured cooperation. As per tradition, CECs meet the Chief Justice before announcing the country’s election schedule. However, today the CEC came alone with his secretary.
