Md. Sayed bin Abdullah appointed as Special Assistant to the Prime Minister

Desk Report:

Md. Sayed bin Abdullah has been appointed as Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (Youth Employment). A notification in this regard was issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Thursday (April 2, 2026).

The notification states that from the date of joining, he will perform contractual duties until the tenure of the Prime Minister or subject to his satisfaction (whichever occurs earlier). He has been appointed in Grade-2 rank.

The appointed officer will not be able to maintain any working relationship with any other profession, business or government, semi-government or private institution/organization. Besides, other terms and conditions of appointment will be determined through a contract.

The notification states that this order has been issued in the public interest.
