On Wednesday (November 12, 2025), a delegation of the Russian House in Dhaka and representatives of the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University) paid an official visit to one of the leading higher education institutions in Bangladesh — North South University (NSU).
During the meeting, both sides discussed the possibilities of expanding future cooperation in the fields of education and culture. In the continuation of the discussions, it was agreed to establish a “Russian Studies Center” at North South University, which will serve as an effective platform for raising interest and awareness among Bangladeshi students about the Russian language, culture, and higher education opportunities in Russia.
In addition, the meeting participants took the initiative to draft a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between RUDN University and North South University, which will lay the foundation for future cooperation in educational exchanges, joint research, and academic programs.
