A huge election rally has been held in support of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) candidateDr. M A Quayum in Dhaka-11 constituency.
BNP Chairman Mr. Tarique Rahman was present as the chief guest at the rally organized at Sun Valley Ground in Badda Satarkul area of the capital on Sunday (8 February 2026) evening.
While addressing the rally, Dr. M A Quayum said, “I express my gratitude to the Most Gracious Allah. Then I express my gratitude to my leader Mr. Tarique Rahman. He has given me the opportunity to be your representative again and nominated me. For this, we are grateful and thankful to him.”
He said that Badda and Satarkul areas of Dhaka-11 constituency are very familiar areas for Tarique Rahman. He has come to this area after almost 20 years. Recalling the 1991 elections, Dr. Qayyum said, “At that time, Tarique Rahman personally went door to door in Badda to seek votes for our beloved national leader Begum Khaleda Zia. Today, we have that leader among us again.”
Dr. M A Quayum further said, “We have been waiting for our leader for a long time. Only a few days are left. Insha Allah, the people of Bangladesh will elect Mr. Tarique Rahman as the country’s Prime Minister by voting with the paddy sheaf.”
He claimed that the people of this region have always benefited during the BNP regime. “Whenever the opportunity arose, the people of Dhaka-11 constituency voted in favor of BNP. In the future too, they will play a role in restoring democracy by voting with the paddy sheaf symbol,” he said.
A large number of ordinary people were present at the public meeting, in addition to the leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliated organizations. The public meeting venue, Sun Valley Ground, turned into a sea of people and the entire area became filled with the slogans of the leaders and activists.
