Consensus Commission meeting held under the leadership of the Chief Advisor

A meeting was held with the members of the National Consensus Commission by Chief Advisor Professor Muhammad Yunus at the State Guest House Jamuna on Monday (April 28, 2025).

In the meeting, the National Consensus Commission reviewed the progress of the ongoing discussions with the political parties. The meeting was chaired by the head of the commission and the chief advisor to the interim government, Professor Muhammad Yunus, and a detailed discussion was held on the reform process.

Vice-chairman of the commission, Professor Ali Riaz, informed the head of the commission about the discussions that have already been held with the political parties.

Commission members Dr. Badiul Alam Majumder, Dr. Iftekharuzzaman, Justice Emdadul Haque and Safar Raj Hossain also participated in it. In that light, the Chief Advisor gave guidance on the next steps.

Legal Advisor Dr. Asif Nazrul, Industries and Public Works Advisor Adilur Rahman Khan Shuvro, and Special Assistant to the Chief Advisor Monir Haider.
