Chief Adviser expresses deep shock over earthquake casualties

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus has expressed deep shock and sorrow over the news of casualties in various districts of the country due to house collapses and other accidents caused by the earthquake.

In a condolence message on Friday (November 21, 2025), the Chief Adviser prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls and expressed deep condolences to the bereaved families.

He wished the injured a speedy recovery and directed all concerned departments to intensify rescue operations in the affected areas.

The Chief Adviser also said that the government is closely monitoring the situation and has taken steps to collect a full account of the damage.

He expressed hope that the people will face this situation with patience and courage.
