CEMS-Global Inaugurates the 24th Bangladesh Edition of the Textile Series of Exhibitions

CEMS-Global’s 24th Bangladesh Edition of the Textile Series of Exhibitions officially kicked off today with a prestigious Grand Opening Ceremony at the New Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Centre, Purbachal, Dhaka. Bringing together global manufacturers, industry leaders, and Bangladesh textile and garment industry professionals under one roof, this edition marks 24 years of empowering Bangladesh’s textile and garment industry.

The Opening Ceremony was presided over by Ms. Meherun N. Islam, President and Group Managing Director of CEMS-Global and Asia-Pacific. Present as Special Guests from the Government were Mr. Md. Shahidul Islam – Director General, Department of Textiles – Ministry of Textile & Jute; Mr. Md. Saiful Islam – Chairman of the Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC); Ms. Baby Rani Karmakar – Director General-1 (Joint Secretary) of the Export Promotion Bureau of Bangladesh; and Mr. Md. Muzib-Ul-Ferdous – Director General, Local Investment Promotion of Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA).

Special Guests from the Bangladesh Garment Industry were Mr. Md. Shamsuzzaman, CIP, Vice President of Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA), and Mr. Mijanur Rahman, Vice President of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA).

The iconic exhibition continues until 13 September 2025, daily from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Centre (DITF Fair Complex), in Purbachal, Dhaka
