CCIFB Delegation Meets BIDA Executive Chairman to Discuss Business Collaboration

A delegation from the France Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCIFB), led by its President, Mr. Md. Muin Uddin Mazumder, paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), Mr. Chowdhury Ashik Mahmud Bin Harun, at his office on Monday.

The delegation included Vice-Presidents Mr. Zahir Ahmed and Mr. Syed Mustafizur Rahman, Treasurer Mr. Deepok Kumar Baral, and Executive Director Ms. Lulu Mahfuza. During the meeting, discussions centered on potential avenues for collaboration between CCIFB and BIDA to explore new opportunities for strengthening business ties between Bangladesh and France.

Both parties emphasized the importance of fostering a conducive investment climate to attract French investors to Bangladesh and agreed to work closely to facilitate business-friendly initiatives. The meeting highlighted key areas such as trade expansion, investment facilitation, and policy support to enhance bilateral business relations.

The CCIFB delegation expressed their keen interest in supporting Bangladesh’s growing economy by promoting sustainable trade partnerships and investment ventures. In response, Mr. Chowdhury Ashik Mahmud Bin Harun assured full cooperation from BIDA in facilitating a robust business environment for French companies seeking to invest in Bangladesh.

The meeting concluded on a positive note, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to strengthening economic cooperation and enhancing mutual business interests.
