Business In Bangladesh Editor Participates in 81st Anniversary Celebration of Myanmar Armed Forces Day at the Invitation of Myanmar Embassy

Business In Bangladesh Editor Engr. Mohammad Shajibul-Al-Rajib has been invited to participated in the 81st Anniversary Celebration of Myanmar Armed Forces Day organized by the Myanmar Embassy in Dhaka at the invitation of the Myanmar Embassy.

Present at the ceremony, he expressed his sincere gratitude to the Myanmar Ambassador and the Military, Naval and Air Attachés of the Myanmar Embassy. Thanking the Myanmar Embassy for the invitation, he said that such an event plays an important role in further strengthening the mutual relations between the two countries.

He expressed the hope that in the future, economic, trade, investment and cultural exchanges between Bangladesh and Myanmar will accelerate further. He also emphasized the role of the media in developing bilateral relations.

Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmud Khan, Chief of the Air Staff of the Bangladesh Air Force, was present as the chief guest at the ceremony. He said, “The relations between Bangladesh and Myanmar are built on the basis of history, geographical location and cultural proximity. Both countries are working together for the purpose of regional peace, stability and prosperity.”

Myanmar’s Military, Naval and Air Attaché Brigadier General Zaw Man Phyo delivered the welcome speech at the event. He sincerely thanked the guests present and said that this day, celebrated on March 27, is a symbol of Myanmar’s independence, patriotism and national sovereignty. He said that the Tatmadaw (Myanmar Armed Forces) has been playing an important role in the country’s democratic progress, stability and development.

Regarding Bangladesh-Myanmar relations, Myanmar Ambassador to Bangladesh U Kyaw Soe Moe said, “Myanmar has been maintaining friendly relations as a neighboring country since Bangladesh’s independence in 1971. The two countries share about 168 miles of land and maritime border and we are committed to resolving various issues based on mutual respect and cooperation.”

In addition, ambassadors, diplomats from various countries, senior officers of the Bangladesh Armed Forces, businessmen and prominent figures participated in the event.
