As part of the 180-day program and election manifesto implementation directed by the Honorable Prime Minister, an awareness workshop on renewable power generation organized by Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) was held at BSCIC Industrial City in Tongi, Dhaka on Tuesday (August 4).
After the workshop, BSCIC Chairman Mr. Benazir Ahmed Tito visited various industrial establishments in Tongi BSCIC Industrial City. During this time, he toured the production activities of Tampaco Foils Limited and Sumi Apparels Limited and exchanged views with the concerned officials.


During the visit, the Chairman was informed in detail about the production activities, working environment, industrial safety, eco-friendly management, use of modern production technology and future expansion plans of the two establishments.
In his discussion with the entrepreneurs, he emphasized on further accelerating the pace of industrialization of the country, increasing production capacity, developing export-oriented industries, expanding the use of renewable energy, and ensuring environmentally friendly industrial management.
The Chairman listened carefully to the various opinions and suggestions of the entrepreneurs and assured that BSCIC’s overall cooperation will continue in the future to create an industry-friendly environment and ensure sustainable industrial development.
The concerned officials of BSCIC, the industrial city authorities, and senior officials of the visited industrial establishments were present at the time.
