In celebration of the Sharadiya Durga Puja, greetings were exchanged with representatives from 185 Puja Mandaps across various areas of Gazipur, accompanied by the distribution of government-allocated (GR) rice, financial assistance, and sarees.
The event took place on Wednesday (October 14, 2026), organized by Member of Parliament Md. Mujibur Rahman and the BNP family of the Gazipur-1 constituency, on behalf of BNP Chairman and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.
As part of the initiative, greetings were exchanged with representatives from 185 Puja Mandaps located within Kaliakair Upazila, Kaliakair Municipality, and the Kashimpur, Konabari, and Bashon Metro Police Station areas. During the event, GR rice, financial aid, and sarees were distributed among the representatives of these Puja Mandaps.
Also present at the event were Kazi Sayedul Alam Babul, Organizing Secretary (Dhaka Division) of the BNP Central Executive Committee, along with local BNP leaders, activists, and representatives from the various Puja Mandaps.
