BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said that the current interim government should assume the role of a caretaker government from now on. He further emphasized that during this time, the administration should be completely neutralised and those who are still associated with the fascist clique should be removed.
He said, “Neutrality should also be ensured in the district administration. In the case of the police, it is essential to maintain neutrality in the case of those who are getting new appointments or promotions.”
Standing Committee members Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury and Salahuddin Ahmed were present from BNP at the meeting led by Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.
