BIDA Chairman Expresses Optimism About Major Future Investments in Bangladesh

The Executive Chairman of the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), Mr. Mohammad Ashiq Chowdhury, has expressed optimism that significant foreign investments will flow into Bangladesh in the near future. He made the remarks on Tuesday during a press briefing held at the InterContinental Hotel in the capital.

“Following the upcoming investment summit, foreign investors will return with a positive impression of Bangladesh,” said Mr. Chowdhury. “This will bring long-term benefits to the country’s economy.”

He also highlighted that Bangladesh has recently signed a landmark agreement with the United States space agency NASA, becoming the 54th country to do so. “The outcomes of this agreement will begin to materialize over the next 20 to 25 years,” he added.

The BIDA Chairman emphasized that the government’s proactive efforts to create an investment-friendly environment and ongoing development initiatives have significantly enhanced Bangladesh’s reputation in the global arena.
