BGMEA Election 2025: Sammilito Parishad, Forum and Oikya Parishad submit nomination papers

The Sammilito Parishad, Forum and the leaders of the first-time participating Oikya Parishad submitted their nomination papers for the Bangladesh Ready-Made Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) elections on 26 April 2025.

Forum Panel Leader Mahmud Hasan Khan Babu, President MA Salam, Chief Coordinator Faisal Samad, Secretary Dr. Rashid Ahmed Hossaini and other leaders were present on behalf of the Forum during the nomination submission.

On the other hand, Sammilito Parishad Panel Leader Md. Abul Kalam, President Kazi Muniruzzaman, Chief Coordinator Faruk Hasan and other members were present during the nomination submission on behalf of the Sammilito Parishad.

The total number of voters in this election is 1,864 according to the final list. Of these, 1,561 are in Dhaka and 303 are in Chittagong.

The election will be held on May 31, 2025. The final list of candidates will be published after the election board’s scrutiny.
