BGMEA and BKMEA leaders pay courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, MP, was paid a courtesy call on the central leaders of the country’s two top trade organizations in the export sector, Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) and Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA).

The courtesy call was held at the Bangladesh Secretariat today, Monday, May 11, 2026.

It is reported that during the meeting, the current situation of the country’s ready-made garment and knitwear sector, its competitiveness in the global market, export growth and future development strategies were discussed. The leaders presented various challenges and opportunities related to the sector to Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.
