The Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) has extended its warm regards and heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Ajith De Silva, the outgoing Managing Director and CEO of Hirdaramani Bangladesh — a leading apparel manufacturer and subsidiary of Sri Lanka’s renowned Hirdaramani Group — for his remarkable cooperation and contribution during his nearly 25-year tenure in Bangladesh.

Mr. Md. Ashraful Kabir, Member (Investment Promotion), on behalf of the BEPZA family, expressed sincere gratitude to Mr. De Silva for his exceptional role in transforming Kenpark and Regency into two of the country’s top apparel manufacturing enterprises. He noted that Mr. De Silva’s leadership has significantly contributed to the overall growth and excellence of enterprises operating in the Export Processing Zones (EPZs) of Bangladesh.

BEPZA deeply values Hirdaramani Bangladesh’s long-standing partnership and its positive impact on Bangladesh’s industrial and export development.

Hirdaramani Bangladesh began its journey in the Chattogram Export Processing Zone (CEPZ) in 1984 through Regency Garments Ltd. Over the years, Kenpark and Regency have grown to become leading apparel producers, widely recognized for their innovation, quality, and sustainability.

In his farewell remarks, Mr. Ajith De Silva expressed his heartfelt gratitude to BEPZA for its continuous support throughout his professional journey in Bangladesh, saying, “BEPZA’s cooperation and encouragement have been instrumental in our success and in making my journey in Bangladesh truly memorable.”
