A colorful cultural program was organized to celebrate Bengali New Year 1432 on the occasion of the ‘Osaka Expo’ held in Osaka, Japan. The event, held at the pop-up stage of the fair, had a festive atmosphere with the participation of local expatriate Bangladeshis and Japanese.
Bangladesh Ambassador to Tokyo Md. Daud Ali delivered the welcome speech as the chief guest at the event. The Japanese cultural organization ‘Madal’ performed music in the cultural segment. Their performance of Bengali folk songs and modern songs won the hearts of the audience.
