The leaders of the executive committee of Bangladesh Reconditioned Vehicles Importers and Dealers Association (BARVIDA) held a courtesy meeting with Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Mr. Sheikh Md. Sajjat Ali at his office on Tuesday (August 19, 2025) morning.
The delegation led by BARVIDA President Mr. Abdul Haque participated in the meeting. During the discussion, Barvida leaders exchanged views on the overall law and order situation and security issues in conducting car business.
The DMP Commissioner said in the meeting that no threat to law and order will be tolerated. He assured the BARVIDA leaders that the DMP will provide all kinds of cooperation in importing cars and conducting business smoothly.
BARVIDA Vice President-3 Mr. Farid Ahmed, Joint Secretary General Syed Jaglul Hossain and Organizing Secretary Mr. Jobayer Rahman were present at the meeting.
