Diplomatic Desk:
The UK Defence Advisor to Bangladesh, Commander Lee A Norton, Royal Navy, paid a courtesy call and held a meeting with the newly appointed Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Khondaker Misbah-ul-Azeem.
The meeting discussed further strengthening the long-standing naval cooperation between the two countries as well as regional maritime security. During the meeting, they exchanged views on maritime security, mutual cooperation and various issues of common interest.
The meeting emphasized on further strengthening the existing friendly and long-standing partnership between the navies of Bangladesh and the UK.
