Bangladesh-UAE exchange of views held to enhance joint cooperation in modernizing religious and moral education

United Arab Emirates Ambassador to Dhaka Abdullah Ali Alhamudi paid a courtesy call on Religious Affairs Minister Kazi Shah Mofazzal Hossain (Kaikobad).

The meeting, held at the minister’s office at the Secretariat on Tuesday (February 24, 2026), emphasized on strengthening and maintaining the long-standing historical and brotherly relations between Bangladesh and the United Arab Emirates.

The meeting discussed strengthening mutual cooperation in religious matters, increasing close people-to-people contact, expanding cultural exchanges and improving mutual understanding. Both sides exchanged views on modernizing religious services, enhancing institutional capacity and increasing the use of digital technology to make religious and moral education activities timely and effective.
