Bangladesh-Pakistan want to increase cooperation in military training and capacity development

Pakistan High Commissioner to Bangladesh Imran Haider paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister’s Defense Advisor Brigadier General (Retd) Dr. AKM Shamsul Islam on Sunday (June 28, 2026).

During the meeting, various issues to further strengthen defense cooperation between Bangladesh and Pakistan were discussed. In particular, emphasis was placed on expanding mutual visits and exchanges, training and capacity development programs between the two countries’ militaries.
