Army Chief visits Archbishop’s House to celebrate Christmas and New Year

Army Chief General Waqar-uz-Zaman, SBP, OSP, SGP, PSC, visited Archbishop’s House in Kakrail, Dhaka on Tuesday (December 24, 2024) to celebrate Christmas and New Year for Christians. He wished all Christians a Merry Christmas.

He said, communal harmony is the pride of our country. Along with other law enforcement agencies, members of the army are working tirelessly to ensure that people of all communities can celebrate their respective religious festivals peacefully and enthusiastically. He also expressed his strong hope that people of all other communities will sincerely cooperate in celebrating Christmas and New Year for Christians and all will come forward shoulder to shoulder in peaceful coexistence to build a happy, prosperous and developed country.
