Army Chief General Waqar-uz-Zaman has briefed the Chief Advisor of the Interim Government, Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus, about the various steps taken by the army to ensure the overall security of the country during Eid.
Meeting the Chief of Army Staff at the State Guest House Jamuna today (March 30, 2025), the Chief of Army Staff briefed the Chief Advisor about the overall security of the country during the upcoming Eid; ensuring safe services at launch terminals, train stations and bus stands, uninterrupted traffic on all roads; arranging for understanding between workers and owners of industrial areas and various ongoing activities of the army.
In addition, the Chief Advisor was also informed about the organization of Iftar and Doa Mahfil in all cantonments of the country in honor of those injured in the July Uprising and the provision of financial assistance to the families of injured soldiers and martyred soldiers by the Bangladesh Army. At this time, the Army Chief extended advance Eid greetings to the Chief Advisor.
