Adviser Asif Mahmud arrives to testify at International Crimes Tribunal

Asif Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuiyan, Adviser to the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives and Youth and Sports, has arrived to testify at the International Crimes Tribunal. He entered the International Crimes Tribunal premises at noon today, Thursday (October 9, 2025).

He will testify before the three-member International Crimes Tribunal-1, headed by Justice Md. Golam Mortuza Majumder, in a case of crimes against humanity filed in the capital’s Chankharpul during the mass uprising on August 5 last year.
