The open heart surgery of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has been successfully completed. He is currently in stable condition. He is being kept under close observation.
The operation began at 8:30 am on Saturday (August 2) at the capital’s United Hospital. Renowned cardiologist Dr. Jahangir Kabir conducted the surgery.
It is reported that Dr. Shafiqur Rahman’s heart has been bypassed 4 times. He will be able to return home within 7 days. Doctors are grateful for the trust the Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer has in the country’s medical system.
