Bangladesh and Pakistan express deep concern over the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Palestine

A bilateral meeting was held between Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Bangladesh’s Foreign Affairs Advisor Md. Towhid Hossain on the sidelines of the International Conference on the “Two-State Solution” at the United Nations. This is their fourth meeting since October 2024.

In the meeting, the two leaders reviewed mutual relations and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthen political, economic and cultural cooperation. In addition, importance was attached to increasing regional connectivity and people-to-people contacts. They agreed to organize high-level visits in the near future.

Both sides expressed deep concern over the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Palestine and the Israeli aggression. Expressing their unwavering solidarity with the just demands of the Palestinian people, the two leaders expressed their expectation for a meaningful outcome from the conference.
