Paying tribute to the students who died in the tragic plane crash in Uttara, Chief Advisor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus has taken a constructive decision. He has determines location of cemetery for plane crash victims at the City Corporation Cemetery in Sector 12, Uttara.
This cemetery was selected because it is close to the scene of the incident, so that relatives can easily visit the graves of their loved ones. Professor Yunus said that this cemetery will be converted into a protected memorial area to preserve the memory of the victims in the future.
