Chinese Ambassador Meets with Environment Adviser on Joint Cooperation in Water Conservation and Climate Change

Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Mr. Yao Wen met with Syeda Rizwana Hasan, Honorable Adviser to the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and the Ministry of Water Resources of the Interim Government of Bangladesh on Sunday (May 18, 2025).

In-depth discussions were held on various aspects of China-Bangladesh bilateral relations during the meeting. Both sides emphasized the importance of enhancing joint cooperation in water conservation, environmental protection and climate change mitigation.

Ambassador Yao Wen highlighted China’s experience in environmentally friendly development and assured Bangladesh of the necessary technical and technical assistance in this sector.

On the other hand, Adviser Rizwana Hasan highlighted the progress of the Bangladesh government’s environmentally friendly policies and water resources management.
