Air Force meets with BIDA on Air Force’s role in national efforts for civil use of space

A meeting was held on Thursday (15 May 2025) between a delegation of Bangladesh Air Force and high-ranking officials of Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) on the topic “How BAF can complement the national efforts on non-military use of outer space taking other related organizations on board to meet national interests”.

The meeting, held at the BIDA conference room, was presided over by BIDA Executive Member (Additional Secretary) Dr. Khandaker Azizul Islam. An 8-member delegation of the Air Force led by Air Commodore Abdullah Al Masud and Air Commodore Mr. Karim, Chief Inspector, Air Force Headquarters, participated in the meeting. Separate audio-visual presentations were presented by BIDA and the Air Force in the meeting.

During this time, Mr. Chowdhury Ashiq Mahmud Bin Harun, Executive Chairman (State Minister rank) of BIDA and BEZA, exchanged views with the Air Force delegation.
