Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s greetings on Bangladesh’s Independence Day

On the occasion of Bangladesh’s Independence Day, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sent a greetings message to Bangladesh’s Principal Advisor Professor Muhammad Yunus.

In the message, Prime Minister Modi said, “I extend my warmest greetings and best wishes to you and the people of Bangladesh on the occasion of Bangladesh’s National Day. This day is a reflection of our shared history and sacrifices, which have formed the foundation of our bilateral partnership.”

He further said, “The spirit of Bangladesh’s Liberation War has guided our relations, which have expanded in many areas and brought positive results for our people.”

Expressing his commitment to further strengthen ties with Bangladesh, Prime Minister Modi said, “We are committed to taking this partnership further, which is based on a shared aspiration for peace, stability and prosperity and will remain sensitive to each other’s interests and concerns.”

Finally, he conveyed his highest respect and best wishes to Professor Muhammad Yunus.
