“You will build your country according to your heart” – for the young generation – Dr. Muhammad Yunus

He said this at Shahjalal International Airport at 3:30 pm on Thursday (08 August).

He thanked the youth community. He said that the young society can decorate the country according to their own style. The benefits of this freedom should be delivered to everyone’s homes, said the Nobel Peace Prize winning economist Dr. Muhammad Yunus.

Appreciating the youth, he said, “I express all my praise and gratitude to the youth community who have made this possible. They have saved this country. They have reborn this country anew. The Bangladesh that we got in this rebirth can move forward at a very fast pace for Bangladesh. This is our vow. I want to keep it too.”

Calling for no attacks anywhere in the country, the Nobel laureate economist said, “If you believe me, stop the ongoing attacks across the country. If not, I am not needed here.”

He further said, “Bangladesh has started a new victory day with a new victory. We have to move forward. Kudos to those who did it, they (coordinators) saved the country. Reborn the country. Today I remember Abu Saeed. That Abu Saeed’s words are embedded in the minds of every person in the country.”

“We have to protect this freedom. And Bangladesh becoming independent means its own change,” he said.
