BARVIDA delegation meets with Chittagong Custom House Commissioner

BARVIDA leaders, led by BARVIDA President Mr. Abdul Haque, met at the Custom House today (Tuesday, January 28, 2025) under the chairmanship of Chittagong Custom House Commissioner Mr. Md. Zakir Hossain.

In the meeting, BARVIDA presented a proposal on behalf of BARVIDA regarding the auction and fine of imported cars.

Several issues including increasing the time limit for car auction and fine and keeping it at a tolerable level were discussed in detail.

The Honorable Customs Commissioner listened to BARVIDA’s proposal patiently and assured its implementation.

The BARVIDA delegation included the Secretary General of the Association Mr. Riaz Rahman, Vice President 1 Mr. Mohd. Saiful Islam (Samrat), Vice President 2 Dr. Habibur Rahman Khan, Vice President 3 Mr. Farid Ahmed, Joint Secretary General Syed Jaglul Hossain, Treasurer Mr. Md. Saiful Alam, Joint Treasurer Mr. Md. Hafiz Al-Assad, Organizing Secretary Mr. Jobayer Rahman, Publication and Publicity Secretary Mr. Abdul Awal, Planning and Development Secretary Mr. S. M. Mansurul Kabir (Lincoln), Executive Members Mr. A. B. Siddique Abu, Poonam Sharmin Jhilmil, Md. Humayun Kabir Bhuiyan were present. Also, General Member of the organization Mr. Ashfeur Rahman Bappi participated in the meeting.
