BSIA (Bangladesh Semiconductor Industry Association) proudly served as one of the platinum sponsors of the 13th International Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering (ICECE) 2024, held from December 18 to 20, 2024. The prestigious event took place at BUET (Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology), bringing together leading minds in electrical and computer engineering from around the world.

BSIA’s President, Mr. M. A. Jabbar, played a significant role in the conference, delivering a keynote address and participating as a panelist in a session titled “Bangladesh’s Semiconductor Industry: Opportunities & Challenges.” His insights highlighted the growing potential and critical challenges of the semiconductor industry in Bangladesh, fostering meaningful discussions among academia, industry leaders, and policymakers.

The event was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Advisor to the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges, and Ministry of Railways, Dr. Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In his address, Dr. Khan emphasized the importance of technological advancements and the role of events like ICECE in fostering innovation and collaboration.
