The ‘Africa Bangladesh Trade Show and Business Summit | Nigeria 2026’ is going to be held in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria, with the aim of strengthening trade, investment and long-term business cooperation between Africa and Bangladesh. The two-day event will be held on October 6 and 7 at the Abuja Continental Hotel in Abuja.
The main theme of the conference, organized by the Africa Bangladesh Business Forum (ABBF) and presented by Kingmansa, is ‘Connecting Markets. Creating Opportunities. Building Partnerships’. Businessmen, investors, entrepreneurs, government representatives, trade associations and institutional representatives from Bangladesh, Nigeria and various African countries will participate in it.
According to the organizers, the Nigerian market of more than 230 million people has created significant potential for Bangladeshi businesses and industries. The country offers new markets and investment opportunities for Bangladeshi companies, especially in the ready-made garments and textiles, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, food processing, information technology, construction materials and consumer goods sectors. At the same time, the conference will showcase Bangladesh’s production and export capabilities to Nigerian and African businessmen.
The two-day event will feature an international trade exhibition, business summit, keynote speeches and speeches, pre-scheduled business-to-business (B2B) meetings, government and institutional level exchanges, investment discussions, startup exhibitions, Business Excellence Awards and networking activities for professionals.
Organizers said that this year’s event is expected to attract thousands of participants and visitors, including trade delegations, exhibitors, investors, policymakers, chamber representatives and executives of various corporate organizations.
ABBF founder and president Zahirul Haque said that the main goal of the event is to create practical connections between businessmen in Africa and Bangladesh. He expressed hope that the conference would play a role in transforming the market potential of both regions into long-term trade, investment and partnership by bringing businesses and related institutions together in Abuja.
Organizers said that there are opportunities to participate as exhibitors, business representatives, sponsors, speakers, startups and institutional partners. As exhibition booths and representative seats are limited, interested organizations were urged to confirm their participation by August 7, 2026.
The Africa Bangladesh Business Forum (ABBF) works to enhance economic cooperation between Africa and Bangladesh. The organization is playing a role in developing business relations between the two regions through B2B matchmaking, market access assistance, trade missions, investment assistance, business verification and international trade events.
