Diplomatic Desk:
The Ambassador of Bangladesh has formally assumed responsibility as the Permanent Representative of Bangladesh to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) in The Hague, Netherlands.
The Ambassador presented his letter of credentials to OPCW Director General Sabrina Dallafior Matter. Through this, he formally assumed responsibility as Bangladesh’s Permanent Representative to the OPCW.
At the time, the Ambassador reiterated Bangladesh’s strong commitment to implementing the objectives and goals of the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC). He also expressed his hope to further strengthen Bangladesh’s existing cooperation with the OPCW in creating a world free of chemical weapons.
