Acting President Hafiz Uddin Ahmed has begun his official activities at Bir Bikram Bangabhaban. This is the first time he has participated in a state function at Bangabhaban since assuming office.
When he arrived at Bangabhaban at around 11:15 am today (July 28, 2026) on Tuesday (July 28, 2026), a well-equipped cavalry contingent of the President’s Guard Regiment (PGR) welcomed him at the main gate-2 and took him to the place of guard of honor.
Later, a smart team of the PGR provided the state guard of honor to the Acting President.
After the guard of honor, the President’s Military Secretary Major General ASM Bahauddin, Public Affairs Secretary Khan Md. Nurul Amin, Press Secretary Md. Sarwar Alam and Assistant Military Secretary Brigadier General Mohammad Raisul Islam presented floral greetings to the Acting President at the Octagon of Bangabhaban.
With this, Acting President Hafiz Uddin Ahmed began his formal duties and state activities at Bangabhaban.
