State Minister for Land and Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Mir Mohammad Helal Uddin has said that as long as any banned party or organization remains under ban in Bangladesh, they will have no chance to do politics openly or secretly.
He said this while speaking as the chief guest after laying wreaths at a ceremony organized by Chittagong Metropolitan Chhatra Dal at the first grave of Martyr President Ziaur Rahman in Zianagar, Rangunia, Chittagong on the 45th martyrdom anniversary of Martyr President Ziaur Rahman.
Laying special emphasis on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman’s revolutionary and welfare-oriented state thinking, the State Minister said that Bangladesh is moving forward in the direction of development under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman in the continuation of the outline of modern Bangladesh that Martyr President Ziaur Rahman started.
The State Minister mentioned that the current government is working sincerely to empower the people in the true sense. Because BNP has always come to power with the mandate of the people.
Remembering the contribution of martyred President Ziaur Rahman, the State Minister said that martyred President Ziaur Rahman brought back the system of governance for development in the country. He fought not for the greed or delusion of power, but only for the realization of people’s rights.
