ADB President Pays Courtesy Call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman

Desk Report:

A high-level delegation led by Masato Kanda, President of the Asian Development Bank, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Monday (May 25, 2026) morning.

The meeting was held at the Prime Minister’s Office in Tejgaon, Dhaka. During the meeting, the two sides discussed various issues of mutual interest, including ongoing cooperation between Bangladesh and the ADB, infrastructure development, investment, energy, connectivity, and sustainable economic growth.

Finance Minister Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury and Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister A B M Abdus Sattar were also present at the meeting.
