A meeting was held on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at the BGMEA Complex in Uttara, Dhaka, to address the challenges faced by non-bonded warehouse businesses in opening back-to-back Letters of Credit (LCs) when sourcing raw materials from the local market without a bonded license.

The meeting was chaired by BGMEA Administrator Mr. Md. Anwar Hossain. Committee members Mr. Md. Shihabuddoza Chowdhury and Mr. Asif Ashraf were also present. Owners of BGMEA-affiliated enterprises, who are directly impacted by this issue, actively participated in the discussion.
