The felicitation and award distribution ceremony of meritorious students of the year 2025, organized by Teachers Welfare Associate, was held in Feni district. The event, organized at Feni Shilpakala Academy on Saturday (April 9, 2026), was presided over by the organization’s chief patron, Alhaj Badrul Bari Chowdhury.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Feni, Romain Sharma, was present as the chief guest at the event. The event was moderated by Abdul Aziz Manek, Controller of Examinations of Teachers Welfare Associate, and the chairman of Dr. Mustafa Hazera Foundation, Captain AKM Golam Kibria, spoke as the main speaker at the event.
Star Line Group Vice Chairman Zafar Uddin, former Principal of Iqbal Memorial College Advocate Sameer Chandra Kar and Feni District Scout Commissioner AKM Farid Uddin Ahmed were present as special guests.
Under the overall supervision of the organization’s Secretary Advocate Khorshed Alam, various center directors, teacher representatives and other members of the organization were present at the event.
The speakers highlighted the importance of scholarship programs in the intellectual development of students and said that it is possible to build an enlightened generation by providing proper guidance and encouragement to students.
It is worth noting that in 2025, this scholarship exam was held in Feni district with the participation of about two thousand students. In this, scholarships were awarded to about three hundred meritorious students.
