Adilur Rahman Khan, advisor to the Ministry of Industry, on Tuesday (26 November 2024) inspected the progress of 3 ongoing projects under implementation in Sirajdikhan Upazila of Munshiganj.
During this time, he reviewed the progress of the implementation of the 3 ongoing projects, reviewed the progress of development activities and gave instructions for the implementation of future plans.
He said, all kinds of cooperation will be provided by the government for the development of the industrial sector. If BCIC Project 3 is implemented, it will be possible to permanently shift the chemical godowns located in Old Dhaka to certain places, plastic factories and printing industries located in different parts of the country including Arambagh to environmentally friendly and safe places. As a result, the working environment of the entrepreneurs of these 3 industrial sectors will improve, investment in the country will increase along with GDP growth and employment will be created for about 2 lakh people.
Zakia Sultana, Senior Secretary of Ministry of Industry, BCIC Chairman Ashraf Uddin Ahmed Khan, Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police of Munshiganj district, senior officials of Ministry of Industry, project managers were present during the visit.
