Prime Minister Tarique Rahman unveiled the plaque of the newly formed Bogra City Corporation at the Bogra Municipal Building on Monday (April 20) at around 12 noon.
With this, Bogra City Corporation officially started its journey as the country’s 13th city corporation. As long-awaited expectations were fulfilled, there was an atmosphere of joy among the local administration and citizens.
Earlier, 12 city corporations have been operating in the country. They are Dhaka South, Dhaka North, Chittagong, Khulna, Rajshahi, Barisal, Sylhet, Narayanganj, Comilla, Rangpur, Gazipur and Mymensingh.
