Honorable Speaker of the National Assembly, Hafiz Uddin Ahmed Bir Bikram, MP administered the oath to newly elected members of parliament Md. Mahmudul Haque Rubel (145, Sherpur-3) and Md. Rezaul Karim Badsha (41, Bogra-6).
The oath-taking ceremony was held at the Speaker’s office on Sunday (12 April 2026).
The Honorable Prime Minister of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Mr. Tarique Rahman, was present at the ceremony.
Deputy Speaker Barrister Kaiser Kamal, Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed, Chief Whip and other whips, members of parliament, Prime Minister’s Press Secretary, Additional Press Secretary and senior officials of the National Assembly Secretariat were also present at the ceremony.
