Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir to perform duties of the Prime Minister’s Office in the Prime Minister’s absence

In the 13th National Parliament, Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Minister Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has been given the responsibility of performing parliamentary affairs of the Prime Minister’s Office in the absence of the Prime Minister.

This information was given in a notification of the Cabinet Division. The notification said that Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will mainly perform the duties of the Prime Minister’s Office in the 13th National Parliament. However, in his absence, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will perform this duty.

The notification signed by Cabinet Secretary Nasimul Gani mentioned that this order will come into effect immediately.
